Barry Ashton

Barry is the clubs main sponsor through his Kingston Cycles Business. He first became involved in the sport in 1971 when his business was asked to support, Kingston Cyclones, one of the newly formed teams in the Humberside League for whom Barry rode for until their demise. Barry subsequently rode for Tranby Diamonds and then Anlaby Aces and latterly Hull. Due to business commitments and a bad accident suffered in training a few years ago Barry does not ride now but as well as supporting the club financially does a lot of work behind the scenes. Married to Liz (whom he met at the track when she was a young cycle speedway groupie) with two children James and Katie.
